Happy Thanksgiving! Certain types in Washington are brewing a toxic Thanksgiving brew for our country!
My editorial cartoon for today – Response from The Flat Earth Society to John Kerry. Drawing again from John Kerry’s speech a few days ago where he stated that anyone not believing in Global Warming must also belong to the Flat Earth Society. Seems the Flat Earth Society might just disagree with Kerry’s sentiments.
Today’s editorial cartoon is reflecting on a disturbing trend in the major press (Washington Post, Huffington Post, etc) in the past week advocating disturbing relationships once thought to be taboo.
This Washington Post story is extremely disturbing. The newspaper seemed to realize this was bad news and changed the title from ‘Sex between students and teachers should not be a crime’. Thankfully the comments are mostly against the story, though amazingly not all. The Washington Post posted a reaction to the first here.
Click here for the Huffington Post story about polyamorous relationships. Be sure to read the comment below the video and see how many are saying people should be able to do what they want.
Then there’s this that was in the Los Angeles Times, I believe, but now I can’t find it. It’s commentary by Richard Dawkins, who has always riled his critis but recently has been getting the fur up on his supporters.
What’s very troublesome is that all of these stories have come about in the past couple weeks. Pray this is not a trend. Though, comments on some of the pages would indicate younger folks are open to all of this. Look out!
Here’s a nice story of honesty of teenagers versus the murderous rage we’ve heard recently.
Here’s the story:

Here’s the headline in the Palm Beach Post that lays out the poll- ‘Poll: Most Americans don’t want health reform defunded’
Looks like this is a case of a poll reflecting how it’s question is worded. The question has the caveat about methodology of how to defund the process. Reword the question as to whether Americans approve of Obamacare as a job killer and see what results you get.
That and how more irresponsible could a story be than to report of a special interest group’s poll? It would be as bad as presenting as journalism a story about a poll against Obamacare by the Catholic Church, who has filed suit against the administration for, what it feels, is a Federal healthcare system that represents blasphemy.
Very important to notice that the writer is a founder of The Moscow Times and that a list of her stories shows very clearly her political leanings. Pity responsible journalism has been replaced by political activism.
While many Americans continue to view health reform as a glass half-empty, they don’t want Congress to shatter it, a poll released by the Kaiser Family Foundation today finds.
The poll of 1,503 adults found 42 percent expressing an unfavorable view of the Obama administration’s health law.’

I wanted to add more items around the hideout that would fir, but, with deadline approaching, only added the swinging tire.
