My problem with this is multi-fold. One was the idea, just even the idea, that students, kindergarteners too, would write reports on Obama and his agenda is something that just makes me sick. Obviously Obama and friends were acting on their own until other staff stepped in and pulled this stupid part out of the school speech. If Obama wants acceptance as a person he needs to go into therapy, not disrupt the school day across the country.\
That leads to the other part. Obama is on the ropes. Everything is falling apart and he knows it. As any insecure salesman does, they reach for anyone who will declare them a valid person. These series of speeches he’s doing is an odd and obvious strain for that declaration.
Cartoon speaks for itself.
This was fun. Not so much the foreground, but the background. The mountains , tress, etc were all created in teh computer.
Ken Culotta wrote this one. If Washington doesn’t listen to us, we go have the ultimate public option in one year.
This voting booth was a pain in the neck. I originally drew a more recognized voting stall. However, I realized the one above is becoming standardized. It was tough to digitally remove the stall and replace with the newer plasic foldup version and get the voter to fit in. As I worked to fit it in I had a heck of a pain attack (See my presoanl blog) that pulled me away for more than an hour. While going through the pain I kept thinking how best to get the voting booth drawn. The pain fianlly passed and I finished the art.
I think it is just silly that Attorney General Eric Holder, a novice to real politics, is going to try and clamp down on the embedded C.I.A.
This took a long time. I researched the torture machine, had to arrange them all, plus the Eric Holder caricature, inking it all, coloring and then modifying it all to get a sense of foreground and background.
I don’t have a pencil drawing of this cartoon, because I created it entirely using Photoshop. This happened again, because I was hearing tropical storm Bill was soon to be a hurricane and this gag came to mind. I took a chance Bill would be a hurricane (Which it did overnight before this cartoon appeared) and quickly sketched this using the Wacom tablet and setting teh type and then color.
It is funny hearing Hillary squirming about her position in things. She’s being more and more marginalized to a point I wonder if she sill have the political energy to run for President ever again.
