She reminds me more and more of my mother, who, as she got older, seemed to be more and more detached from reality. My mother also had trouble getting some sentences out without a stumble or two. I wonder what Pelosi’s medical condition is.
Below is the penciling prior to ink and color. I worked real loose again with the pencils ’cause I was hoping to give the finished art a looser look. In the end, it’s all rather tight. That seemed to work better getting the idea of lighting. I was going to have a yellow glow from the light above Pelosi’s head, but the glow was taking away from the somewhat eerie feeling i wanted.
I essentially have two panels happening. One of Pelosi at the door and the other of something speaking in the shadows.
How do you all think it worked out in the end?
